IN MEMORIAM

JULIO SCHEMBARI

 

Loving father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Husband.  Peacefully concluded his life at age 85 on June 22, 2014 in Victorville, CA.  Julio was the youngest of five and is preceded in death by both parents Rosario and Maria, sister Liberty, brother James, his loving daughter Maria Lane and granddaughter Annalyse Marie.

Julio is survived by two sisters, Josephine Kosth and Carmella Wood, his wife of 22 years Kathleen, his son's Rosario (Skip) his wife Barbara, Julio, Jr. his wife Debra, John and step-son David Coolidge.

His Grandchildren Lisa, her husband Ed Morales, Theresa, Blaire, Paul, his wife Mindy, Michael and Harley Coolidge.  Great-Grandchildren Lainey & Jessica Morales, Owen Muntz, Aidan, Logan and Ava.  Countless Nieces and Nephews.

Julio was born October 19, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT.  He served in the US Navy during WWII,  moving to California in 1951.  Julio owned JULIO'S ITALIAN Restaurant  located on Eagle Rock Blvd.  from 1959 until he closed it in 2001.  During that time he was an active member in the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce, Eagle Rock Kiwanis Club, Pasadena Rose Bowl Riders, Vaqueros Riding Club of  Los Angeles, and a member of Oakmont Country Club Glendale.  After retirement he moved to Victorville, CA and join the Spring Valley Lake Country Club and the Fishing Club of Spring Valley Lake.  He loved singing and would break out in song anywhere at the drop of a hat.  

 

The service for Julio was on July 2, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Reception was immediately following at 4254 Commonwealth in La Canada.
