Presidents Message
Welcome to the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce website. We hope to become your one-stop destination for everything you need to know about Eagle Rock and more.
Our new website was developed in response to feedback and input from our members. Please continue to let us know what you find valuable as a Chamber member business and what you think your potential customers find valuable in our “One-Stop Shop-Eat-Dine Eagle Rock” website! As you maneuver through this website, check out the following features:
1 About the Chamber – Includes the President’s message, Officers and Board of Directors information and the updates from our Board meetings, mixers and past events.
2. Events Calendar – This is a brand new feature to showcase our Chamber events and other events in the community. With your Chamber membership, you may post events for free. If you are not a Chamber member, but would like to post an event, you may do so for a small service charge. Please email your request to millerd2@ah.org. You will be notified by email if your request is approved.
3. Destination Eagle Rock – This section of the website includes a Business Directory, the History of Eagle Rock and press releases about our community. As you know it has been a major goal of mine since becoming President in 2006 to assist businesses, large and small with building a better business community in Eagle Rock. We have accomplished this together and Eagle Rock is gaining notoriety in the paper, on television and on the radio. We are becoming a destination and the jewel of the N.E. Valley of Los Angeles, again just like we experienced before 1990. I appreciate every building owner, business owner, employer and employees that have contributed to all the momentum and interest about our community. Together we can continue to “Build a Better Business Community” and to keep “Destination Eagle Rock,” front and center in the consumers’ minds. 4. Business Resources – This web page will someday soon be your one-stop shop for opening a business in Eagle Rock. As we continue to gather data and contact information from the city of Los Angeles, we will update this page with those links that you will find most pertinent for opening and operating a business in Eagle Rock.
5. Community Resources – This section includes information about all of Eagle Rock’s organization and service clubs, schools & recreation centers and links to our elected officials websites.
On behalf of my board of directors and myself, we hope that you find all the information you need about Eagle Rock on this website. We look forward to meeting you at our monthly meetings and mixers on the 4th Tuesday of every month. And don’t forget to check out our other Chamber sponsored events throughout the year.

Outgoing Presidents Message

Dear Friends,
I am deeply grateful to have served as the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce President from 2006-2008. We were able to accomplish so many important things for our business community in three short years. Our work together such as the implementation of the security cameras, the introduction of a Business Expo, a focused outreach to the new business owners and a brand new website has benefited future generations in more ways than we might realize. People outside our community are paying attention to Eagle Rock and we are able to clearly deliver on what distinguishes our community from others.
Each of you, in your own unique way, has left an indelible mark in my life and I am thankful that we were able to collaborate on the very important needs of our Eagle Rock businesses by remaining open to new processes, new ideas and new thinking. We have done great work together and are positioned to assist our business owners face the current challenges before them.
It has been a rewarding and challenging experience to lead an all-volunteer member organization. There is so much more to do and I look forward to doing my part, next to all of you. Special thanks for giving me the opportunity to give back to my hometown community. Eagle Rock... “ROCKS!”
