Our March Mixer was held at Cactus Gallery and Gifts, located at 4534 Eagle Rock Boulevard and hosted by owner Sandra Mastroianni. This unique shop was a delight, filled with creative works of art from paintings to one of a kind hand crafted jewelry made from an array of natural creations, such as bark, coconut, etc.

Most of the items are from local artists. Sandra opened her business in March of 2005, and said she is dedicated to supporting Latino arts.
Art appreciation starts young.
With Roots in Argentina, her intent has been to find a new market for the ARTESANIAS (hand crafted unique art objects) for developing Argentina. This done not on the basis of pity but as articles which are worth purchasing for their intrinsic value. The Cactus customer is helping to create opportunities for artisans to improve their standard of living, promote their cultural traditions and work at their craft with dignity.

The night was rainy, but that did not stop a large number of members and guests from attending. It was an interesting mixer and I am sure those in attendance enjoyed their evening, Thank you Sandra Mastroianni for hosting. The Chamber Directors wish you much success in your endeavors.
